Individual Definitions
According to Urban Dictionary Individual is a person who acts in the way they want to is not bound by the sad rules of society, live life for filling goals for their self-esteem.
Individual derived from the Latin word, “individuum” that means undivided. The word Individual is a term that can be to declare an entity that smallest and limited. The word does not mean that the human individual as a whole which cannot be divided, but as a finite entity that is as individual human beings, according to a Dr. A. Lysen.
Individual according to the concept of human life Sociological means standing alone. Individual as a creature of God’s creation in it self always equipped by the completeness of life which includes the body, sense, reason, and harmony.1. Body, a typical form of the human body that can differentiate between individuals with each other, even with the same substance
2. Sense, a man who can capture the feeling of object motion of objects in the universe or feelings pertaining to beauty
3. Reason or minds, a human completeness to develop themselves, overcome everything needed within each human being and a tool to digest what was received by the five senses.
4. Pillars or social life, is a form of socialization with other human and lived call now harmonically, and complete peace of call now. Pillars here that can help human to build a social group called society.
Every individual born in this world with a certain heredity acquired through inheritance from the parents who concerning the physical characteristics and psychological or mental properties. Environment is an important factor in addition to heredity that determines individual development which includes physical, psychological, social and relegius.
In the development of each individual experience and charged to a variety of roles, from the condition of living together with fellow human beings. Often there is also a conflict within the individual, because typical behavior itself is contrary to the role demanded society. But every citizen, every individual is fair to adjust their behavior as part of social behavior society. Success in adjusting or portray themselves as individuals and as citizens of the community section provides connotation “maang” in a social sense. This means that the individual has been able to find his personality aatau in other words the process of actualizing as part of the environment has been formed.
Individual Growth
Human growth that natural and normal must be through the growth and development of both inner and outer. Which means that individual or human person is the whole body and soul that has its own unique characteristics. Although there are differences of opinion among experts, but it is recognized that growth is a change towards a more advanced, more mature.
Factors of Individual Growth
Factors that influence the growth:
1. Stance of navicstic. According from the expert from this group, found that growth is only determined by factors that they bring since they born.
2. Stance of Empiristic and Enviromentalistic. This stance are opposite from navistic, they assume that individual growth is depends on pada the environments, whereas the basic (born factors) is not play a role at all.
3. Establishment of convergence and interactionism. This group assumes that interaction between the basic and environment can determined individual growth.
Family
Family is the smallest part in the society. This group in the relationship within individual growth is often mentioned as primary group. This group will bring forth an individual with variations of their characteristic in the society.
Family is an universal phenomenon that raised around the world. As an universal phenomenon, family have 4 characteristics that give us a clatrity about family concept.
1. family consists of people who are united because of bound marriage, bloodliners or adopted. a bound hat makes a wife and husband is marriage, a bound that makes relation between parents and children is bloodliner (commonly) but sometimes it could be adoption.
2. a member of family usually lived together in one house and they build a households, sometimes one household only conist of husband and wife without a child, or with one or two childs.
3. Family is a unity of people who interact and communicate to each other,
they play a role as a husband and wife, father and mother, boy and daughter.
4. Family have to mainteain their culture together that largely derived from wider common culture.
In the family we often find a work that we have to do.
That ‘work to do’ is called function. Family Function is a works that have to do by each member within that family. They are:
1. Biologic function
2. Maintanence funtion
3. Economic function
4. Religion function
5. Social function
Society
Society is a term taht we commonly known in our daily life. There are urban society, village society, scientific society, and others. In english, we usually use a term ‘society’ which derived from laatin word socius, that means “friend” this term is also derived from arabic word Syaraka that means “ to participate, participation”.
According to some expert, society can be describe in many ways.

Society is a whole complex relationship of human that have a broad nature.
Koentjaraningrat
In his writings, Society is a group of human or unity life of human who interact according to a culture system that have a continue nature, and bounds with united identity.
Social Phycological
Society is group of human who lived in togetherness with life knowledge collectively, and show a well-organized behaviour from their citizen to fill their goods and interests of each person.
In their development and growth, they can devided into each groups:
Simple Society.
In simple society environment (primitive) division of works pattern is commonly diffrence into gender. Background of weakness and physical abilities between a woman and a man in the face of the challenges of nature wild yagn that time.
Forward Society.
Advanced society has a variety of social groups, or better known as group of community organizations grow and evolve based on the needs and specific objectives to be achieved.
Non-Industry Society
Primer Group
Interaction between member is more intensive, more bound, more intimate. This group is also called ‘face to face group’. The division of works or division of job pada in this group is depend on Responsibility of members and running by sympathy and voluntarily.
Secondary Group
Their relationship is not directly, formal, less familial. Because of that interaction, division of work organized by basic consideration that rational and objective. The members accepted the divisions of work atas on the basis of specific skills despite to equired specific targets and objectives that have been determined.
Industry Society
For example: baker, turner, welders, carpenters, laborers, industrial workers, and more.
Urbanization
An increase in a population in cities and towns versus rural areas. Urbanization began during the industrial revolution, when workers moved towards manufacturing hubs in cities to obtain jobs in factories as agricultural jobs became less common. The physical growth of urban areas as a result of rural migration and even suburban concentration into cities.
Urbanization occurs when people move from rural areas into cities, often motivated by economic factors.
EXAMPLE:
1. Mexico City has undergone rapid urbanization according to the pattern seen in many developing countries. Mexico has rapidly changed from a primarily agricultural country to one with significant industry, including industrialized agriculture. Consequently, huge numbers of rural dwellers migrated to Mexico City, making it an extremely densely populated city of nearly 9 million.
2. Chicago is an example of a U.S. city that has seen vast suburbanization as middle and upper class residents move to nearby suburbs. The population living within city limits is under 3 million, but the population of the “metro area,” which includes suburbs, is over 9 million.
Urbanization occurs when people move from rural to urban areas, so that the proportion of people living in cities increases while the proportion of people living in rural areas diminishes. In the last century, the world’s population has urbanized quickly.
